Crowdfunding the climb would break it: if the audience funds the ascent, the zero-crossing stops proving the process, and this whole site is the proof or it is nothing. So the money waits at the surface. What you give now is the thing that can't be faked later — being on the ledger before the fact existed. Honored scarcity, in public, from day one: pledge prices are founding prices, and they retire the day the cart actually opens.
